Support Worker at Wood House

Location: Wigton Crescent, Southmead, Bristol BS10 6DA

Salary: £13.67‑£13.80 per hour

Hours: 36 hours per week

Shift Times: 3x 07:45‑20:15 (including alternative weekends)

Wood House, Southmead, Bristol, has eight self‑contained apartments and eight ensuite bedrooms, with spacious open‑plan communal areas and was designed to meet the needs of people with complex needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • As a Support Worker you will be responsible for promoting physical and emotional support to our lovely service users. This will include, but not limited to:
  • Providing person‑centred care in line with an individual’s care plan.
  • Offering personal care, which includes assistance with bathing, dressing and hygiene.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents.
  • Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting your colleagues in day‑to‑day duties.
  • Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment.
