The predicted salary is between 14 - 15 £ per hour.

Salary: £14.17 - £14.74 per hour

Hours: 36 and 48 hour contract available

Shift Times: 20:00 - 08:00

Shaw healthcare is looking for a passionate and caring Residential Team Leader who is ready to make a positive impact at Wood House, situated in Wigton Crescent, Bristol. Wood House has eight self-contained apartments and eight ensuite bedrooms, with spacious open plan communal areas. Wood House was designed to meet the needs of people with complex needs and challenging behaviours.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice
  • Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures
  • Report changes in residents' needs or well-being promptly to the Line Manager
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans and documentation

Qualifications And Experience

  • Experience working with older people in residential care
  • You will have completed or be working towards your NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social care (or equivalent)
  • You will need to be flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people
  • Ability to lead a team and use own initiative
