About the Role
We are looking for an Activities Champion to join the team in Trenewydd. The role involves providing stimulation and encouragement to residents through entertainment, activities and community links.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate an activity profile for each individual service user through liaison with care staff.
- Ensure the safe and proper use of all equipment.
- Maintain accurate and legible records of service users’ activities.
- Liaise with the senior nurse on duty regarding outings.
- Research prospective outings, including access and toileting facilities.
- Liaise with senior care assistants in relation to medical or nursing care information.
