Shift Times: As/when needed in the service – 12hr shifts (07:45-20:15 or 20:00-08:00)

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice.
  • Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures.
  • Report changes in residents' needs or well‑being promptly to the line manager.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date care plans and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience working with older people in residential care.
  • Completed or working towards an NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Flexible, patient, caring, organised and personable.
  • Ability to lead a team and use own initiative.
