Shaw healthcare is looking for a Residential Team Leader to join the team at Wylesfield. You will join a team that is fully committed to making a difference to the lives of those who we provide care for. Our aim is to deliver the highest standard of care to our service users and to provide the same standard of care that we would expect our own family members to receive. You will be using the latest care technology that will enable you to spend more time with the service users that you care for. Wylesfield has an excellent reputation as highly valued provider of care. The needs of our service users are at the centre of all we do every single day.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with all those around you, ensuring family and friends feel welcomed.
• Keep health care professionals well-informed and keep your Line Manager up to speed with residents’ needs and progress.
• Follow guidelines and policies easily, and write up care plans.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with older people in residential care.
• Flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people.
• Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Completed or working towards QCF 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
