Shaw healthcare is looking for a Team Leader to join the team at Urmston House. You will join a team that is fully committed to making a difference to the lives of those who we provide care for. Our aim is to deliver the highest standard of care to our service users and to provide the same standard of care that we would expect our own family members to receive. You will be using the latest care technology that will enable you to spend more time with the service users that you care for. Urmston House has an excellent reputation as a highly valued provider of care. The needs of our service users are at the centre of all we do every single day.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and health care professionals.
- Ensure family and friends feel welcomed and kept informed.
- Keep the Line Manager up to speed with residents’ needs and progress.
- Follow guidelines and policies; write up care plans as required.
- Lead and support the care team to deliver high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Experience working with older people in residential care.
- Flexible, patient, caring, organised, and great with people.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Have completed or be working towards your QCF 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
