Residential Team Leader – Plas Cae Crwn, Newtown
Remuneration & Working Hours
- Salary: ÂŁ14.38 per hour
- Hours: Bank 0 hour Contract
- Shift times: As/When needed in Service
About the Role
The purpose‑built service provides residential care for older people with physical frailty, and for older people living with dementia. As a Residential Team Leader you will maintain high standards of person‑centred care and support your team to uphold those standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice.
- Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies.
- Report changes in residents’ needs or well‑being promptly to the Line Manager.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date care plans and documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working with older people in residential care.
- Completed or working towards NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Flexible, patient, caring, organised and people skills.
- Ability to lead a team and use own initiative.
