Bank RMN at Surehaven Glasgow – £20.05 - £22.48 per hour

Contract: Bank (zero hours)

Working hours: As/when needed (08:00-20:00 or 19:45-08:15)

Surehaven Glasgow is an independent low secure hospital that accommodates twenty-one patients aged 18‑65 with severe and enduring mental illness. The unit is 21 beds with ensuite facilities, split into two gender‑specific wards.

Key Duties
  • Ensure the highest possible standards of care, assessing residents' needs and wishes, and developing services to enhance their quality of life.
  • Champion appropriate independence and personal choice; develop, review and update care plans to meet residents' physical, social and psychological needs.
  • Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift – ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered in accordance with policy and legislation.
  • Build a positive reputation of the business; liaise professionally with visitors and other external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best-practice guidelines – identify, investigate and resolve risks proactively.
  • Support, guide, teach and mentor others in line with the NMC Code.
