Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise rooms and furnishings in assigned work areas.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness of the service and laundry with minimal disruption to service users and their care.
- Communicate and engage effectively with service users, their families and colleagues; strong interpersonal skills are essential.
- Work independently without direct supervision.
- Use a variety of cleaning products, paying particular attention to COSHH‑regulated products.
- Work on own initiative and maintain a high level of hygiene within the home.
