We have several offices in Central and Southern England and have ambitious plans to expand our business. We have a new opportunity for a VAT Assistant Manager to join our VAT team. This is a permanent full-time or part-time role with hybrid and flexible working options. This role may involve travel to a number of offices within the Shaw Gibbs Group.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 months post-qualified experience, preferably within a VAT team.
- Experience of providing VAT advisory services within practice or industry.
- Demonstrate good judgement of risk and be commercially minded.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- CTA qualified.
- Experience and willingness to network.
- Experience of communicating with HMRC.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong aptitude for IT - able to pick up new technology quickly.
- Can-do attitude, positive.
- Confident, tactful, and discreet manner.
- Strong team spirit but also effective working independently.
- A UK driving licence to meet the need to be able to travel to all Shaw Gibbs Group offices.
