We have several offices in Central and Southern England and have ambitious plans to expand our business. To support the organisation’s growth, we have created a new opportunity for a US Private Client Tax Senior to join our London US tax team. This is a permanent full-time role with hybrid and flexible working options.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of private client tax clients and ensuring compliance with the IRS and in-house deadlines
- Preparing and processing US tax returns and forms for individuals
- Calculation and advice of liabilities, together with due dates of payment to client for both final and quarterly estimated tax payments
- Assisting with client queries and providing ad hoc advice where requested with the support of senior members of staff
- Billing personal portfolio clients after work completed
- Dealing with correspondence, telephone calls and arranging and attending meetings with clients and potential clients
- Assisting partners and senior staff members with technical queries and advisory projects
- Providing assistance and training to junior members of the team
- Dealing with IRS correspondence, telephone calls and enquiries
- General support to the US tax team as required

About You:
We would like to hear from you if you have 2-4 years’ US Tax experience. We are also looking for the following:
- Have an interest in pursuing, or have started the EA qualification
- Significant experience within a US private client tax team
- Some UK tax knowledge would be desirable but is not essential
- A Self-starter with a high level of resilience and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong aptitude for IT - able to pick up new technology quickly
- Strong team spirit but also effective working independently
- Can do attitude, positive and commercial approach
- Confident, tactful and discreet manner
