We have a new opportunity for a Group Compliance Analyst to join our Compliance team.This is a permanent full-time or part-time role with hybrid and flexible working options. This role will involve travel to a number of offices within the Shaw Gibbs Group. The Role Your key responsibilities will include: Work with Integration & Compliance Director and Group Compliance Manager helping to develop and roll-out a company-wide Compliance and Risk strategy Assist in ensuring that a risk and compliance culture is embedded within Shaw Gibbs, by facilitating and organisation training and communication on compliance matters. Preparation of regulatory applications to ACCA/ICAEW or other regulatory bodies for all new acquisitions e.g. Audit, AML, DBP Provide clear and accurate reporting to the Integration and Compliance Director with regards to compliance findings and breaches In coordination with the Integration and Compliance Director and Group Compliance Manager provide advice and guidance to partners, managers and employees on compliance related queries Build collaborative relationships to ensure all regulatory compliance risks are managed and reported in an effective and timely manner Assist with updates to regulatory policies on a timely basis following requests from key relations in the firm and following direction from Integration and Compliance Director. Update firmwide risk assessment and policies and procedures on a timely basis following requests from key relations in the firm and following direction from Integration and Compliance Director Updating reference templates used for client onboarding solution e.g. engagement/disengagement letters with regulatory updates on a timely basis. Support with putting in place a procedure for identifying all potential conflicts of interest (e.g. audits). Co-ordinate any assessment and identification of the conflicts and work with the team to resolve such conflicts. This may mean declining work or ensuring adequate safeguards are in place. Understand GDPR requirements and following direction from Integration and Compliance Director ensure Group compliance risks are managed and any ICO reports are made on a timely basis. Assist with maintaining the Shaw Gibbs relationship with professional bodies, including ACCA, and ICAEW. Work with Integration and Compliance Director to ensure that we remain compliant at all times with their rules and regulations. Assist with drafting new regulatory guidelines for the company and with the implementation of new regulatory requirements Actively be involved in Group project work representing Compliance to ensure best industry practice for regulatory compliance is embedded in to business development and process changes. The role will manage all strategic, operational and regulatory risks. The successful candidate will have a keen interest in and foundational level understanding of risk & compliance in a professional services firm. You will have a good base knowledge of CDD and AML, processes as well as complex group structures. You will be self-motivated, keep abreast of the latest industry trends and regulatory requirements for our sector and show curiosity in your work. You will role model competent and ethical behaviours in line with regulatory conduct principles.
