To support the organisation’s growth, we have created a new opportunity for a
Business Management Assistant to join our Basingstoke team. This is a permanent part-time role.
The Role
Your key responsibilities will include
- Managing the phones, meeting/greeting clients
- Booking of meeting rooms
- Providing tea / coffee for visitors as requested
- Keeping reception/meeting areas tidy
- Liaising with landlord regarding any maintenance problems
- Organise office equipment repairs (photocopier, franking machine etc) as and when required
- Ensuring post is franked and posted at the end of the day
- Providing Admin support to each Department within the office
- Scanning
- Office shopping
- Archiving
- Forwarding post to clients
- Monitoring and ordering office stationery
- Collating accounts packages to be sent to clients
- General filing, both online and hard copies
- Completing the firm’s mandatory training requirements
- Any other reasonable duties required

About You
- GCSEs in Maths and English at grade 5 or above (or equivalent)
- Proven communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong IT skills, specifically MS Suite and able to pick up new IT packages very quickly
- Previous experience using CCH or IRIS Docs is desirable
- Exceptional attention to detail
- A positive, confident and proactive attitude
- Enjoy working as part of a team and self-motivated
- Relevant work experience and/or experience of working within a fast paced office environment.
