The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 Β£ per year.

Due to additional funding, we are seeking to appoint Health and Welfare Support Assistants (HWSA) to support the health and welfare needs of all pupils at Ivy House School.

Responsibilities

  • Safely administer enteral feeding and support the administration of medication.
  • Provide personal and intimate care to pupils.
  • Meet pupils' physical needs and support therapies such as rebound and hydro therapy.
  • Provide classroom support as needed.
  • Work as part of a team and support pupils with care and mutual respect.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven track record of working successfully with vulnerable children and/or adults in an education, health or care context.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience of enteral feeding and the necessary clinical competencies for administration of enteral medication (or willingness to receive training).
