We are seeking a Head of Apprenticeship & Workforce Development to lead the strategic design, delivery, and oversight of our Trust's employer-provider apprenticeship programs. You will ensure high-quality training, compliance with ESFA funding rules, and foster strong employer engagement to build an outstanding workforce within the Trust and beyond.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the Trust's Apprenticeship Strategy, aligning with sector needs and government policy.
  • Ensure all apprenticeship programs meet ESFA, Ofsted, and IfATE standards.
  • Drive innovation in apprenticeship pathways, collaborating with curriculum leads and industry partners.
  • Take a data-led approach to track success, retention, and progression.

The successful applicant will have a degree or professional qualification in Education, Training, or Workforce Development, experience as an Ofsted nominee or leading an Ofsted inspection, and have a strong understanding of digital learning platforms and blended learning strategies. This role will require some travel to SET academies, so access to a vehicle and a full driving licence will be required.
