What's the job all about?
You’ll lead exciting building and improvement projects across a mini family of around six schools - which could include Special Schools, Primaries, or Secondaries. You’ll get to know each school, their people, and what matters to them. You’ll become their trusted go-to person for making spaces safer, smarter, brighter, and brilliant for learning. And yes - you’ll play a big part in creating vibrant spaces that pupils and staff feel proud of every single day.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning projects from planning to completion: budgets, timelines, contractors, and quality
- Keeping schools and senior leaders informed with clear, confident communication
- Delivering projects safely and compliantly, supported by strong systems and processes
- Turning great ideas into real results that make a difference
You won’t be doing it alone. You’ll be joining a friendly, experienced, and supportive Estates team with clear processes and the right tools to help you succeed. Think of the role as a mix of:
- Construction Projects "Ninja"
- School Compliance "Black Belt"
- School Maintenance "Grand Master"
Why this role?
If you love variety, teamwork, and want a job where the impact of your work is visible every single day, this is the role for you. No two days look the same - but every day makes a difference.
