Overview
Our client is looking for a commercially focused Senior Data Centre Solutions Architect to join their Solutions team. This is a customer-facing pre-sales position focused on designing, positioning and presenting Data Centre solutions across enterprise customers.
This role combines technical architecture, customer engagement and solution-selling, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with customers, vendors and internal sales teams to design and win complex infrastructure opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead customer discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
- Design and present end-to-end Data Centre solutions.
- Work closely with sales teams to support customer opportunities.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the pre-sales lifecycle.
- Produce high-quality solution designs, proposals and presentations.
- Act as the trusted technical advisor for customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic technology vendors.
- Support bid responses, commercial discussions and customer presentations.
- Stay current with market trends and vendor technologies.
- Proven experience in a pre-sales, solutions architect or technical consulting role.
- Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience designing and selling enterprise infrastructure solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco Data Centre technologies.
- Experience with Dell Data Centre platforms and solutions.
- Experience with Pure Storage solutions.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure transformation projects.
