About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping operational performance across the Group by leading and driving the Sales and Operations Planning process. As the S&OP Manager, you will be fully accountable for the end-to-end S&OP process, working closely with Finance, Strategy, and Sector leadership teams to ensure alignment between operational delivery, financial performance, and strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Group-wide Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process
  • Ensure alignment between operational plans and financial plans, based on consistent assumptions
  • Drive financial and delivery performance through effective demand and supply planning
  • Support the business in identifying, understanding, and managing risks and key decisions within the operational plan
  • Monitor, report, and communicate operational performance across the Group
  • Work closely with Sector teams to understand performance trends and drive continuous improvement actions
  • Maintain accountability for the operational plan baseline and manage changes while ensuring alignment with strategy and financial objectives
  • Oversee S&OP systems, tools, and processes to maximise effectiveness and support continuous improvement

Essential Experience

  • Significant experience leading Sales and Operations Planning within a large, complex matrix organisation
  • Proven experience working with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership and director-level executives
  • Strong leadership capability with experience building, motivating, and developing high-performing teams
  • Excellent collaboration skills across geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders
  • Strong operational management skills with the ability to challenge existing behaviours and improve working practices
  • Highly developed negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships quickly across all levels and functions

  • Degree-level qualification in a discipline requiring strong analytical, conceptual, and organisational skills
