Our clients are seeking a skilled and experienced Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM) Consultant to join their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and optimising Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM solutions for their clients. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, provide expert guidance, and ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or support the implementation of Dynamics 365 SCM modules including procurement, inventory, production, warehousing, transportation, and master planning.
- Collaborate with clients to gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into functional designs.
- Configure D365 SCM modules to meet specific business needs.
- Conduct gap analysis and propose suitable solutions using standard or custom features.
- Develop functional specifications for customisations and work with development teams.
- Perform testing, training, and user support throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Provide post-go-live support and ongoing system enhancements.
- Maintain documentation including solution designs, process flows, test scripts, and user guides.
- Stay up to date with Microsoft product updates, roadmap changes, and industry best practices.
- Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 SCM (or AX 2012) implementations.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
- Proficiency in configuring and supporting D365 modules like Inventory, Procurement, Sales and Distribution, Master Planning, and Warehouse Management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate.
- Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate).
- Familiarity with Agile/Waterfall project methodologies.
- Previous experience in a consulting environment.
