Working alongside leading experts and using cutting-edge technology, you'll play a key role in protecting critical systems and supporting national security.
They are seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Consultant to join their team at their customer site in Corsham.
In this role, you'll provide expert cyber security guidance across multiple programmes, leading vulnerability analysis, cyber security audits, business risk modelling, and cyber exercise planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cyber security vulnerability assessments to identify and evaluate security risks.
- Provide expert advice and support in the design and delivery of cyber exercise scenarios, ensuring they accurately reflect organisational security posture, threat landscapes, regulatory requirements, vulnerabilities, and attack paths.
- Develop business risk models and supporting documentation to enhance operational cyber security and business planning.
- Lead cyber security audit activities across a range of environments, assessing compliance against recognised security standards and best practice.
- Assess organisational cyber maturity and risk exposure using established frameworks, providing actionable recommendations to support operational planning and informed decision-making.
- Work closely with customers and stakeholders, communicating technical findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- 2–3+ years' experience in cyber security, with a focus on vulnerability management, risk assessment, audit, and compliance.
- Strong understanding of NIST Cyber Security Framework and ISO 27001, with practical experience applying these standards.
- Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Experience working within Secure by Design principles.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strong digital literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
