Midday Assistant (2 positions available) in Crewe

Shavington Primary School is seeking two enthusiastic and caring Midday Assistants to join our friendly and supportive team for the new school year in September 2026. Role Responsibilities

• Supervise and support pupils during lunchtime, both in the dining hall and across our exciting outdoor play areas
• Help set up and clear away in the dinner hall
• Oversee and encourage safe and positive play, making sure all children are included
• Be assigned a specific outdoor play space (such as the tree climbing area or sandpit) or work in the dining hall
• Work closely with our staff team to ensure the smooth running of lunchtime
• Be a positive role model for our children

Schedule and Salary

• Hours: 8 hours and 45 mins a week, Monday to Friday (11.35am to 1.20pm)
• Weeks: 38 (term time only)
• Actual salary: £4929
