This cleaning post sits at Shatterlocks Infant and Nursery School, within Samphire Star Education Trust. The work centres on keeping classrooms, corridors, toilets and shared areas clean and hygienic, sweeping, mopping, dusting and sanitising, and leaving every space ready for the next school day. It is an afternoon and evening role, 3pm to 7pm on weekdays, offered as 20 hours a week or possibly two 10-hour posts. Candidates need an enhanced DBS check and the right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available.
What the job involves
- Clean classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal areas to a high standard
- Sweep, mop, dust and sanitise surfaces
- Ensure all areas are clean, safe and ready for the next school day
- Report maintenance or safety issues
