Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on all aspects of data protection, privacy laws, and compliance (including GDPR).
  • Drafting and negotiating data processing agreements, privacy notices, and other related documentation.
  • Assisting clients with data breach management, reporting, and investigations.
  • Advising on complex Subject Access Requests (SARs) and other data subject requests.
  • Supporting clients in responding to and resolving personal data breaches, including liaising with the ICO.
  • Conducting data protection gap analyses and supporting the implementation of compliance plans.
  • Keeping up to date with regulatory developments in data protection law.
  • Supporting the wider team on commercial contracts and other legal matters as required.
