Sharpsmart are part of Daniels Health, a global business providing safety systems and medical waste collection for hospitals and an array of customers within the healthcare setting. Our focus is delivering quality and safety-focused medical waste management services that reduce needlestick injuries, positively impact infection control and reduce environmental burden.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver with a Class 2 license to utilise your experience with our healthcare customers.
What will the role involve?
- Safely collecting, delivering and storing our containers at customer locations
- Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
- Operating vehicles in a safe manner
- Completing deliveries to time schedule, and clearly communicating changes or challenges as they arise
- Loading and unloading
- Managing a route per leadership's direction, delivering timely, efficient and effective service
- Complying with regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
- Heavy lifting
Who are we looking for?
- Class 2 license with ADR
- A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
- Experience operating vehicles in a safe manner with a manual element
- On time delivery practices and the understanding of our essential service
