As the face of Sharpsmart, our drivers are quite literally our key workforce as they see our colleagues and customers every day. Driving is important to take our products from a to b but it’s equally important to be pleasant and friendly. That’s why we’re hiring an additional SQG driver to join the team.
With regular routes from the Stoke plant, digital planning systems and your own vehicle, the working days are busy but fulfilling knowing the work you’re doing is essential to our customers across the healthcare industry.
Your role as SQG Driver involves:
- Ensuring timely delivery of sharps collection bins to clients
- Manage the safe unloading and loading of sharps collection bins onto the vehicle
- Carry out daily, weekly and monthly cleaning and maintenance on all vehicles and equipment, reporting any accidents, damages to the Operations Manager/Plant Manager
What are we looking for?
- Full UK Driving License
- Experience of driving within a similar environment
- A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
- ADR (preferred – training can be provided for the right candidate)
