Responsibilities
- Supervising a diverse and talented operations team.
- Organising staff members to achieve a reasonable workflow throughout the day.
- Supporting the Plant supervisor in directing, performance managing, training, and assisting production employees on your shift.
- Coordinating the treatment shift production team and supporting the plant supervisor for personnel involvement in HR aspects, policies, and procedures.
- Ensuring completion of all relevant paperwork including data capture sheets.
- Performing routine compliance regulatory checks and spot checks to capture non-conformities.
- Supporting the Plant Supervisor to conduct regular quality assurance training to staff in line with metrics.
- Creating and offering solutions to troubleshoot and solve operational inefficiencies.
- Monitoring treatment equipment and reporting performance to the Plant Supervisor and the onsite Maintenance engineer.
- Using MaintainX system to record daily machinery performance checks.
- Completing daily metric huddle meetings and ensuring production targets are communicated and maintained.
- Management of onsite stock levels.
- Responsibility for leading low-level employee relations casework.
- Motivating and maintaining a productive, professional, and customer-service oriented team.
- Enforcing compliance with necessary safety procedures (weekly training of workplace health and safety).
- Keeping a positive and safe working environment, including maintenance of machinery, cleanliness of workstations, and operating areas free of clutter, debris, or other hazards.
