The Transport Administrator helps ensure transport operations run safely, efficiently, and in full compliance. Responsible for maintaining driver and vehicle records, monitoring TruTac data, conducting driver debriefs, and supporting reporting and investigations, the role is key to keeping fleet operations accurate, compliant, and on track.
This role is based full time on-site Monday to Friday, 37.5 hrs per week (RM13 8BT).
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure systems in place for record keeping of gate checks/ADR checks/driver debriefs.
- Ensure Driver card & vehicle uploads to Trutac system as per company policy are completed.
- Collate all Driver timesheets to allow cross referencing Trutac download information to ensure continual compliance.
- Support and maintain vehicle and driver files.
- Control issue and ordering of PPE and essential transport related equipment.
- Assist in investigations into transport related incidents and prepare reports.
- Assist Transport Manager in scrutiny of suppliers invoices and ensure issue of PO Numbers as required.
- Ensure all vehicles are entered onto relevant toll, road charging and permit schemes.
- Ensure all reports are maintained and issues actioned as per schedules including fuel receipt checks.
- Conduct daily documented driver debriefs.
- Previous experience in a transport, fleet, or logistics administration role.
- Understanding of UK transport compliance.
- Experience using transport management systems.
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong communication skills with confidence to conduct driver debriefs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
