A job in the driving seat to make healthcare safer! As the face of Sharpsmart, our HGV drivers are quite literally our key workforce as they see our colleagues and customers every day. Driving is important to take our products from A to B but it’s equally important to be pleasant and friendly. That’s why we’re hiring an additional Class 2 Driver to join the team. With regular routes from the Rainham plant, digital planning systems and your own lorry, the working days are busy but fulfilling knowing the work you’re doing is essential to our customers across the healthcare industry.
Your role will involve:
- Delivering and collecting clinical waste bins from customers across the Southern region
- Safely unloading and loading the vehicle
- Interacting with customers on arrival to sites
- Making sure your vehicle is clean and safe to drive
Candidate Profile:
- Full UK Driving & Class 2 (Cat C) License
- CPC
- Experience of driving within a similar environment
- A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
- ADR (preferred)
