Role
We are currently recruiting for a Plant Operative position. This role is critical to the success of the company with a varied range of duties including:
Responsibilities
- Checking in containers and checking paperwork
- Moving/unloading specific waste containers
- Operating a forklift to load an autoclave
- Weigh incoming sharps and regulated medical waste containers (using our Weighbridge)
- Load/operate our autoclave machine (a pressure chamber to melt materials)
- Lifting and pushing carts
- Provide attention to detail, especially with the paperwork required to process these items
- General housekeeping
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Working well with a team because we are all about team work
- Opportunities for overtime
Qualifications / What we’re looking for
- Experience in a production/warehouse environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced position and communicate well across the plant
- Ability to adapt to varied tasks and think through practical problems
Employment details
- Permanent position – Full-time
- Consistent work hours – 4 on 4 off / days only
- Salary: £12.21 per hour + shift allowance
