Join Sharpsmart Field Service Team in the role of Field Service Technician, playing a key role in the installations at our customer hospitals locations across the Kent Region. This customer facing role requires good organisation skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment. This is a full time permanent position that will require extensive travel and you will require a clean driving licence and DBS check.
Role Responsibilities
- Complete routine customer audits - waste yard, analysing stock and accessories used within the department / area
- Project manage installations, snagging and optimization of new contracts.
- Complete routine ward walks to identify ongoing customer requirements.
- Utilise stock management tools to analyse and balance stock holding
- Identify and deliver training and education requirements to Environmental Service Technician
- Build, maintain and monitor customer portering schedules
- Review and adjust resource supplied, identifying efficiencies with transport, transporters and onsite support
- Investigate and complete all Field Service cases following RCA method
- Determine compound stock holding requirements
- Identify and implement efficiencies with container capacity
- Identify accessory upsell opportunities via departmental audits
- Review contract performance with regional contract manager
- Provide cover support in the absence of Environmental Field Service Technician when required
Skills And Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a similar role in a clinical environment
- Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks
- Good IT skills including ability to use Excel proficiently (intermediate level)
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with key customer contacts and internal and external stakeholders
- Aware and adaptable to working with hospital patient environment
- Health and safety focused
- Driving license/DBS Check
