Sharpsmart are part of Daniels Health, a global business providing safety systems and medical waste collection for hospitals and an array of customers within the healthcare setting. Our focus is delivering quality and safety-focused medical waste management services that reduce needlestick injuries, positively impact infection control and reduce environmental burden.
We are currently recruiting for a Plant Operative position; this role is critical to the success of the company with widely varying responsibilities.
What will your role involve?
- Using our bespoke specially made machinery to load the Washsmart system (sanitization system)
- Handling, cleaning, and quality checking of specialist containers
- Lifting, pulling and pushing transporters
- Attention to detail for spot checking
- General housekeeping
- Standing for extended periods of time happily and comfortably
- Working well with a team because we are all about teamwork!

The shift pattern will be: Monday - Friday, 6am-4pm.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have experience in a production/warehouse environment with experience of working in a fast-paced position. Teamwork is a huge part of this role and you must be able to communicate well across the plant, and be able to support as needed.
