Sharps Furniture Group, the UK’s leading fitted furniture brand, is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to take full responsibility for a standalone warehouse supporting our manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll manage day-to-day warehouse operations, lead a small team, and work closely with our manufacturing site to ensure materials and products are supplied on time.

Responsibilities

  • Full accountability for warehouse operations including stock control, picking, packing, and dispatch
  • Planning and managing inter-site transfers to support manufacturing
  • Leading, developing, and motivating a small warehouse team
  • Ensuring high standards of health & safety and compliance
  • Maintaining accurate stock records and supporting audits and stocktakes
  • Driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency
  • Acting as the key point of contact between the warehouse and other sites

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience managing warehouse operations or a small distribution team
  • Strong, hands-on leadership style
  • Good knowledge of health & safety and warehouse compliance
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Desirable: FLT licence
  • Manufacturing or inter-site logistics experience
  • Warehouse management system experience
