Sharps Furniture Group, the UK’s leading fitted furniture brand, is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to take full responsibility for a standalone warehouse supporting our manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll manage day-to-day warehouse operations, lead a small team, and work closely with our manufacturing site to ensure materials and products are supplied on time.
Responsibilities
- Full accountability for warehouse operations including stock control, picking, packing, and dispatch
- Planning and managing inter-site transfers to support manufacturing
- Leading, developing, and motivating a small warehouse team
- Ensuring high standards of health & safety and compliance
- Maintaining accurate stock records and supporting audits and stocktakes
- Driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency
- Acting as the key point of contact between the warehouse and other sites
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing warehouse operations or a small distribution team
- Strong, hands-on leadership style
- Good knowledge of health & safety and warehouse compliance
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Desirable: FLT licence
- Manufacturing or inter-site logistics experience
- Warehouse management system experience
