Sharps Furniture Group is the home of three exceptional brands – Sharps, Fittingly and Clever Closet. With over 50 years of craftsmanship and customer trust, we are the market leader in bespoke fitted furniture. Now, as we enter an exciting period of growth, particularly across our acquisition brands, we are expanding our regional leadership team.
We are looking for three Area Sales Managers to join our Sharps Fitted Furniture brand – one in each of the above regions. These are key leadership roles, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, and will be responsible for inspiring and developing teams of field-based, self-employed sales consultants.
The Role
As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales performance and customer experience across your region. You’ll work closely with your consultants, providing coaching and direction to help them maximise opportunities and deliver outstanding results. This is a hands-on role, ideally suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, and enjoys being out in the field supporting their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and motivate a regional team of self-employed sales consultants
- Recruit, onboard and develop talent in partnership with our National Recruitment and Sales Training teams
- Set, track and review sales targets, KPIs and performance metrics
- Analyse sales data to identify improvement opportunities and drive revenue growth
- Maintain a strong customer-first culture, ensuring exceptional service is delivered consistently
- Collaborate effectively with regional colleagues and head office functions
About You
- Proven success in a field-based sales management role
- Background in direct or B2C sales – furniture, interiors or premium consumer goods experience is a strong advantage
- Motivational coaching style with the ability to inspire performance
- Confident communicator and influencer
- Commercially focused, data-driven and results-oriented
- Resilient, proactive and comfortable working at pace
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across your territory
