Sharps Furniture Group are the UK's premier fitted furniture manufacturer and installer. If you are a skilled bedroom installer, bedroom fitter, joiner, carpenter, cabinet maker, shop fitter, or furniture fitter, then come and work with us. Across our brands, Sharps, Fittingly, and Clever Closet, we have numerous local, weekly paid contracts available in a sub-contracted/self-employed capacity. Highly competitive earnings paid promptly on a weekly basis. Your earnings are all about your expertise, adaptability, and speed.
You will get:
- Local contracts offered to you well in advance with a contribution towards your fuel costs and parking.
- All contracts pre-surveyed with full CAD drawings sent to you in advance.
- For Sharps, all materials are delivered into the room of installation prior to your arrival. You just arrive on the day of installation and get started!
- For Clever Closet, ideally you will need a van to be able to pick up the materials needed from one of our service hubs!
- Daily back-up from Sharps Planning & Installations team to ensure the contract gets completed in good time, with technical assistance from Sharps Installations team, and from Sharps Runouts team including the delivery of unrivalled next day parts so you complete the contract promptly.
- All fixings/hardware supplied.
During your first 5 months working with Sharps, you’ll get enhanced payments to support you whilst you familiarise yourself with Sharps product and operations.
You need to have:
- Your own vehicle and tools.
- First-class carpentry skills. We will ask you to demonstrate your ability with a full floor-to-ceiling panel scribed around coving and skirting on day one.
Contract Rate: Up to £325 a day (this amount can depend on location). Please note contract rate is negotiable and is based on experience and location.
