Sharper is working with our local authority client in the South West. They need an experienced Officer to join their Environmental Protection teamandtake ownership of a live statutory nuisance and noise caseload. Minimal hand-holding, maximum autonomy.

What you'll be doing:

- Managing your own statutory nuisance caseload
- Noise investigation, monitoring and acoustics assessment
- Evidence gathering and case preparation for enforcement action
- Proportionate, confident regulatory decision-making

What you'll need:
\n
- \n
- Strong local authority EP background
- Practical, hands-on EPA 1990 experience
- A CIEH-accredited qualification (preferred)
- The confidence to work independently from day one

What you'll get:

- 6 months, up to 37 hrs/week
- 3 days/week on site
- Mileage reimbursed
- Rate: Inside IR35 £42-£50 per hour- depending on experience
- Starting ASAP
