We are looking for a skilled and forward‑thinking Solutions Architect to join our Pro AV team. If you have a strong technical mindset, a passion for audio‑visual solutions, and the confidence to work directly with customers, channel partners, and internal teams, this is an outstanding opportunity to shape impactful AV systems across a diverse range of environments. This role is central to our sales organisation and requires a mix of technical expertise, creativity, and customer‑focused problem solving.
As a Solutions Architect, you will support the design and development of AV systems for multiple verticals, helping customers understand the possibilities of modern display technologies and translating their requirements into real‑world solutions. You will work closely with sales teams, senior designers, and project specialists, providing technical insight, product guidance, and presales support. You will also troubleshoot issues, support installations when required, and occasionally assist with project needs outside standard business hours. This is a hands‑on, varied, and highly collaborative role for someone who thrives in a fast‑moving technical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop AV solutions across a wide range of applications
- Select appropriate products from our portfolio, including dvLED, LCD, projection, and supporting technologies
- Work closely with sales teams, partners, and end users to understand requirements and propose effective solutions
- Produce system layouts, equipment lists, proposals, and technical documentation
- Contribute to tenders, bids, and structured commercial proposals
- Provide presales technical support and help customers understand solution options
- Maintain strong knowledge of our product range and emerging AV technologies
- Collaborate with senior AV designers on drawings, cable schedules, and system design documentation
- Use standard applications (Microsoft Office and similar tools) to produce clear, accurate work
- Participate in manufacturer training, internal development sessions, and workshops
- Present solution proposals confidently to customers and partners
- Support post‑sales operation challenges and assist with troubleshooting when required
- Take ownership of select projects end‑to‑end, including coordination with third‑party contractors
- Manage pipeline activity within the CRM system and contribute to sales forecasting
We’re seeking someone who combines technical understanding with strong communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for AV technology.
Essential skills and experience:- Background in AV, IT, electronics, or technical sales
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Knowledge of display technologies (dvLED experience is a strong advantage)
- Experience working with IT/AV channel partners, contractors, consultants, or project‑led environments
- Strong communication skills, including confidence with both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Good working knowledge of computing applications, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to understand technical concepts and apply them in practical scenarios
- Comfortable interpreting product specifications, data sheets, and system diagrams
- Organised, detail‑focused, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Commercial awareness and ability to support sales teams with solution positioning, tenders, and bids
- AVIXA CTS qualification or familiarity with CTS processes
- Experience with AV systems, display technologies, and dvLED concepts (pixel pitch, processing, mounting)
- Experience with CAD, Visio, or AV design tools
- Understanding of technical sales, solution selling, or public‑sector tender processes
- Previous customer‑facing or technical support experience
