We are looking to recruit a Photocopier Engineer to cover North Wales, Chester and Liverpool areas.
As a Field based Customer Support Engineer, you will be the face of Sharp Business Systems, attending customer sites, providing first class service by preparing, installing, maintaining, servicing and repairing a range of multi-function photocopier devices and software.
Our engineers work sociable hours (Monday – Friday, office hours)
A company vehicle is provided, and a full driving licence is required.
Responsibilities
Attend requests to repair, install and maintain multi-functional network devices (MFDs) and other products including software, supplied by Sharp Business Systems and dealers
Prepare and set up MFDs/Products associated with SHARP portfolio
Refurbish second-hand MFDs/Products
Connect equipment to customers PCs and networks by installing print drivers on servers and local PCs. Set up scanning and other functionality over the network
Diagnose and resolve advanced network MFD related issues
Provide relevant training on both hardware and software
Provide support and cover when necessary for other roles
Ad hoc tasks to assist the operation of logistics and service support
Manage stock on vehicles/site as appropriate
Perform to KPIs in line with company policies.
Person specification
Experience as a Field Service Photocopier Engineer: installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment, MFP/MFD
Experience of networking is required
Experience with Sharp equipment is ideal but not essential.
Competent in the use of PCs, laptops, and tablets
Experience with Papercut is advantageous
Familiar with working to KPIs or SLAs
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft products ie: Word and Excel
Ability to understand and use bespoke software
Industry recognised or other technical qualifications within the print sector
Analytical problem-solving approach to electromechanical faults
Valid driving license
