We’re looking for a driven and ambitious Inside Sales Account Manager to join a high-performing Public Sector team. The Opportunity

As an Inside Sales Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in developing and growing relationships across a portfolio of public sector customers, particularly within education. You’ll work closely with Account Managers to identify opportunities, generate leads, and deliver value-led solutions that meet customer needs. This is a varied role where you’ll combine proactive outreach, campaign activity, and account development – alongside managing your own pipeline of opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of smaller public sector accounts, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Support Account Managers in delivering targeted campaigns to generate new business opportunities
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers across customer organisations
  • Generate and qualify your own leads, progressing opportunities through to close
  • Arrange meetings and sales appointments for both yourself and field-based colleagues
  • Accurately process sales orders and maintain up-to-date records within CRM systems
  • Contribute to team sales targets, KPIs, and overall performance goals
  • Use social platforms such as LinkedIn to engage customers and build your professional network

About You

We’re looking for someone who is commercially minded, target-driven, and passionate about building a career in sales. You will bring:
