We're looking for a driven and ambitious Inside Sales Account Manager to join a high-performing Public Sector team. As an Inside Sales Account Manager, you'll play a key role in developing and growing relationships across a portfolio of public sector customers, particularly within education. You'll work closely with Account Managers to identify opportunities, generate leads, and deliver value-led solutions that meet customer needs. This is a varied role where you'll combine proactive outreach, campaign activity, and account development – alongside managing your own pipeline of opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and develop a portfolio of smaller public sector accounts, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Support Account Managers in delivering targeted campaigns to generate new business opportunities
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers across customer organisations
- Generate and qualify your own leads, progressing opportunities through to close
- Arrange meetings and sales appointments for both yourself and field-based colleagues
- Accurately process sales orders and maintain up-to-date records within CRM systems
- Contribute to team sales targets, KPIs, and overall performance goals
- Use social platforms such as LinkedIn to engage customers and build your professional network
