A highly successful retail business based near Yeadon seeks the help of an accountant for an initial 6-month period.
Key tasks will involve:

Ensuring delivery of the MI Pack on working day 10 to include commentary and analysis, overseeing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

Bringing new acquisitions on board including integration into MI pack, completion accounts, and driving closure of old bank accounts through supporting the migration of suppliers, NHS income and Direct Debits.

Preparation & submission of VAT returns and all VAT compliance reporting to the FC and FD.

Payment of monthly payroll and PAYE, including reconciliations, payroll journal input and pension submissions, and working closely with the People Team.

Significant contributor to the year-end statutory accounts processes by supporting the FC and providing relevant information to the auditors.
To be considered you must be available to start immediately, ideally be fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA (but someone who is qualified by experience may also be considered) plus be able to work with a small team in a positive manner.
