Sharp Consultancy are working with one of South Yorkshire’s biggest construction brands on a strong Finance Business Partnering opportunity. Our client is looking to appoint a qualified, commercially focused finance professional into a pivotal role embedded within the business.

This position represents a true step away from traditional, hands-on accounting. It is designed for someone who thrives on influence rather than production. You will partner closely with regional finance teams and senior operational leaders, acting as a trusted advisor across a complex organisation. You will sit at the centre of decision making, shaping commercial strategies and challenging performance assumptions.

The role is business critical and highly visible, ideal for someone who operates confidently with a clear strategic perspective. Candidates best suited to this position will be qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) from construction, audit, manufacturing or engineering backgrounds, and be able to evidence clear examples of business partnering across their experience.

What’s on offer:

  • Salary between £55,000 - £65,000
  • Car Allowance
  • 25 days AL + 8 BH
  • Company Pension

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Partnering closely with project based, commercial and operational stakeholders across multiple regions
  • Providing robust financial review, assurance and constructive challenge around business performance
  • Deliver commercially driven financial analysis to support investment decisions, project evaluations, pricing strategies and margin optimisation
  • Analyse performance trends, risks and commercial opportunities
  • Deliver accurate forecasting and management information to support executive decision making
  • Driving continuous improvement across financial controls, reporting and core finance processes

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
