Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a well established and independent accountancy firm in Sheffield in their search for a Tax Advisor. The firm are known for their ability to add value to their client base, making this role a natural extension of their growing advisory services. In this position you will work closely with the Tax Director, managing a varied portfolio of clients across both personal and corporate tax matters whilst gradually increasing your involvement in advisory projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious tax professional looking to take the next step in their career and develop their exposure to advisory work within a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Assisting with tax planning and advisory assignments
- Work closely with the senior members of the tax team to further develop your advisory expertise
- Managing a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients and supporting with queries as a trusted point of contact
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns
Who you are
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice tax role
- Exposure to personal and/or corporate tax compliance
- Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in developing a career within tax advisory
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction
