You will take ownership of a rapidly growing division, lead a small team, and work closely with one of South Yorkshire’s most dynamic Finance Directors, ensuring outstanding mentorship and exposure to strategic decision‑making. Ideal applicants will be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, or nearing completion, and ready to take a significant step forward in their career. Responsibilities to include:
- Full production of the Management Accounts pack, including balance sheet reconciliations, KPI analysis, and commentary.
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Supporting cash management, including cash flow, forecasting, and banking processes.
- Maintenance of the fixed asset register including the posting of depreciation.
- Assisting in audit process – acting as a point of contact for external auditors.
- Monitoring and managing Foreign Exchange requirements.
- Developing and sustaining high‑level, productive relationships across the organisation and with key external advisors (legal, tax, audit).
- Supporting the continuous improvement of financial processes to enhance accuracy and timeliness of information delivery.
- Providing strategic recommendations based on external business factors.
- Monitoring and analysing external trends to inform board‑level decision‑making.
Person Specification:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA Finalist or Qualified
