A Senior Finance Manager opportunity has become available working with a successful, growing Sheffield based SME that has built an excellent reputation within its sector and is continuing to invest in both its people and its future. As the business evolves, they're looking to appoint a Senior Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting strategic decision making, strengthening financial controls and partnering with senior stakeholders across the organisation. Reporting into the senior leadership team, you'll take ownership of the finance function's core reporting processes whilst acting as a trusted business partner across multiple departments. Key responsibilities
- Leading the month end reporting process and ensuring accurate, timely financial information.
- Owning budgeting, forecasting and long-term strategic planning.
- Business partnering with senior leaders, providing challenge, insight and commercial support.
- Producing cashflow forecasts and identifying financial risks and opportunities.
- Delivering meaningful analysis around sales performance and commercial activity.
- Managing the year-end audit process from planning through to completion.
- Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, accounting estimates and technical accounting matters.
- Maintaining and enhancing financial controls and governance frameworks.
- Leading finance systems improvements, automation projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
You'll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with at least five years' post-qualified experience and a strong technical grounding. You will combine excellent financial control experience with the ability to communicate confidently with senior stakeholders, translating complex financial information into practical commercial insight. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
