Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a well‑established and award‑winning practice in Sheffield in their search for a Personal Tax Senior to strengthen their tax team. In this role, you will take ownership of a portfolio of personal tax clients, managing everything from self‑assessment returns through to supporting on advisory projects. You will work closely with managers and partners with exposure to high level advisory work. This is an ideal opportunity for an ATT qualified and CTA studying tax specialist with the personality to engage with clients and offer advisory services. This business is a highly regarded and leading practice in South Yorkshire which prides itself on delivering a high quality service for which you will play a key role in, ensuring that you maintain and develop client relationships.

Key duties/responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
  • Preparation and review of personal tax returns
  • Supporting on tax planning and advisory work
  • Assisting with HMRC correspondence and compliance queries
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Assisting with mentoring junior team members
  • Keeping up to date with tax legislation changes and apply accordingly
