This is a key leadership role across multiple sites in ensuring consistency in manufacturing accounting processes, cost transparency, and delivering improved financial insight across a complex international manufacturing footprint. This is a highly visible role where you’ll take ownership of end-to-end processes, leading standardisation, continuous improvement and transformation across international operations. Duties and responsibilities

  • Owning the end-to-end manufacturing accounting process across multiple regions and sites
  • Defining and embedding standards for cost accounting, inventory valuation, standard costing, production accounting, and COGS
  • Promoting consistency, simplification, and automation of finance processes at scale
  • Improving the quality, integrity, and usability of manufacturing financial data across systems and sites
  • Leading inventory reporting and ensuring robust group-level reporting during key financial cycles
  • Partnering with multiple teams/departments improving cost visibility and performance
  • Acting as a key governance and control owner, ensuring compliance, audit readiness, and financial control frameworks
  • Leading transformation initiatives including system enhancements, process redesign, and reporting improvements
  • Establishing and tracking KPIs to support performance management and continuous improvement
  • Providing subject matter expertise and guidance on manufacturing accounting standards across the organisation

Person specification

  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA – Part qualified or qualified or qualified by experience
  • Strong experience in manufacturing finance, including inventory valuation, standard costing, production accounting, and COGS
  • Strong ERP systems knowledge and understanding of integrated manufacturing and finance data flows
  • Confidence in challenging existing ways of working and leading change across diverse teams and cultures
