An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Head of Finance based in Sheffield. Sharp Consultancy are working in partnership with a well-established market leader as they continue to grow across the UK, in particular new regions and have earmarked this role as a key addition to enable greater growth across key commercial projects and decisions including wider investment through M&A based projects.
Responsibilities
- The role will take full control of the financial leadership process including business partnering and you will lead a small team of specialists, working across all levels and departments within the analysis and development process.
- You will represent the business at stakeholder, client and third party meetings with significant responsibility for investment projects, capex, business case reviews and delivery against deadlines in particular cashflow forecasting.
- You will possess a strong technical background as well as experience within modelling, forecasting, budgeting and project management and be comfortable leading at a senior level with excellent communication and influencing skills.
Qualifications
- You must be a qualified accountant, preferably Chartered and be experienced within a business partnering environment providing key commercial support.
- You may not necessarily have worked at a head of or management level but you will have the necessary gravitas to lead others and be comfortable reporting into a group FD with exposure to the group CEO and CFO and business board members.
- Any experience of high growth / fast growth environments would be advantageous.
