The Role

Working as part of a friendly and collaborative finance team, you'll take ownership of the credit control function while supporting the wider finance department with a variety of accounting duties. As the business continues to grow, you'll also have the opportunity to get involved in systems improvements, streamlining processes and helping to implement more efficient ways of working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the sales ledger and proactively collecting outstanding debt.
  • Building great relationships with customers to resolve payment queries quickly and professionally.
  • Allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts.
  • Producing aged debt reports and providing regular updates to management.
  • Supporting month-end processes and assisting the wider finance team when required.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and suggesting new ways of working.
  • Working confidently across finance systems and supporting future system developments and process enhancements.
  • Assisting with additional finance administration as the business continues to expand.

About You

  • Previous experience within Credit Control or a Finance Assistant position with credit control responsibilities.
