Senior Management Accountant

Sharp Consultancy are recruiting a Senior Management Accountant to join a subsidiary of a large international group. This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant to take a forward-facing, commercial role with real responsibility.

You’ll manage a small team, review their work, and be involved in financial planning, management accounts, and analysis, providing key insights to senior management and reporting directly to a supportive, qualified Finance Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and review the work of the Finance Assistant and Management Accountant
• Prepare, analyse, and report on management accounts for the subsidiary
• Support budgets, forecasts, and financial planning initiatives
• Provide value-added insights and recommendations to senior management
• Act as a forward-facing business partner within the finance team

Who we’re looking for

• Actively studying or fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Strong experience in management accounts
• People management experience not required, but collaborative and proactive approach essential
• Bright, enthusiastic, and eager to take ownership and add value
