Job Description
This global firm has a wonderful brand in the accountancy and advisory market. With excellent offices in Leeds they have a superb and growing client base of privately owned, national and international businesses.
Audit has been a major area of growth for them with partner and senior management numbers growing in line with revenue. As a senior manager you will support a first-class partner group and take responsibility for managing a variety of clients, delivering first class audits and maintaining key relationships. It is anticipated that you will take a key role in the office’s ongoing people and growth plans via marketing, business development, preparing tenders and new business meetings. This is not seen as a career senior manager role (unless that is what you wanted) with the opportunity to show the qualities required to become a director and possibly even partner in due course. To be considered you will need extensive up to date external audit experience delivered to mid-market and larger clients, be a fully qualified accountant, ACA or CA, whether ICAEW or ICAS, or ACCA from within a quality firm of accountants, though it does not need to be a national firm. Influencing skills at board level and people leadership skills are essential.
This is a leadership role and you will have the opportunity to contribute at the highest level. Prospects are very clear for those desiring them.
